Sometimes you just want a classic ol’ ice skating rink. When that mood hits, head over to Louisville for WinterSkate’s 16th season there. The rink’s adjacent Steinbaugh Pavilion turns into a concession area, serving hot chocolate, tea and cider, as well as hot dogs and chips. If your feet begin to hurt while skating around the 6,500-square-foot rink, hop on a free horse-drawn carriage. The rink will be holding several events, including Chanukah On Ice, Skate with Care and Denver Figure Skating Club’s winter show.
